
The TRE Method® is a modality that relies on the gradual integration of a reflex neurogenic tremor. A series of simple exercises induces a spontaneous response of our nervous system, that usually feels like shaking or trembling. Through a few sessions with a TRE Provider, we learn how to welcome and navigate this response in our body. After that, it can usually be practiced in autonomy at any time: we can do it at home every few days, or whenever we feel stressed or in need of regulation. We can go back to our TRE Provider for a follow-up session when we feel stuck, have a question or want to explore more, since the response and its benefits can evolve, transform and deepen indefinitely.
TRE is a wonderful tool for self-regulation and self-connection, that can be used for tension release, stress reduction and post-trauma integration. It is a way to connect and be present with the physical and emotional energy living in our bodies. In expanding our trust in our body's capacity to hold and process these intensities, it cultivates our resilience and prevents further traumatization. It has shown great results in reducing muscular tension, decreasing feelings of anxiety, improving the quality of sleep. Dancers and movement explorers usually resonate a lot with this practice. For many, it feels like coming more and more to life. However like for life itself, each experience looks and feels quite different for each person, and continuously evolves through time. This modality can be included at some point in an individual process with me. But it is also possible to book sessions only aimed at experimenting and integrating the TRE response. In this case, we will have a short conversation about why you are interested in TRE, I will answer your questions about the practice and then I will guide you through the experience and the integration process. It is important to start the practice with a Provider, so that it can be adjusted to each person's needs and singular response. Such a session lasts around 90 minutes and costs 90€ (sliding scale 80-100€). People need an average of 3 sessions to start with their autonomous practice, but some people need less and some more.
TRE can also be practiced in groups, which synchronizes our nervous systems together and reconnects us with our ability to feel, move, and vibrate in community. Contact me if you would like to organize a collective TRE session with your collective, your WG, your (chosen) family or your colleagues.
